  • E. Kelly Nitsche

    DVM

    Dr. E. Kelly Nitsche, a Dallas native, brings extensive clinical experience to ADC after five years of internal medicine specialty practice and 18 years of general small animal practice. As a graduate of Texas A&M University, Dr. Nitsche obtained his Bachelor of Science in 1979, Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1981, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. He is board certified in canine/feline specialty practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (2000). After completing a private practice internal medicine residency (in cooperation with Texas A&M University), he achieved board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2004. His special interests are cardiology, endocrinology, hematology and gastroenterology.

  • Brandy Porterpan

    DVM

    Brandy Porterpan, DVM, DACVIM is board certified in small animal Internal Medicine and has been trained to diagnose, and treat disorders affecting the gastrointestinal, renal/urinary, hematologic, hepatic, endocrine and respiratory systems using the most state-of-the-art technology. She graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 and completed a small-animal internship at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine the following year. She then completed a three-year internal medicine residency at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion of her internal medicine residency, she elected to perform a one-year clinical associate position at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. As a clinician, she taught veterinary students, as well as managed emergency and critical care cases presented to the Texas A&M Small Animal Clinic. Dr. Porterpan was presented the Wadell Scholarship Award in 2005 in recognition of exceptional merit and outstanding achievement in postdoctoral studies of emergency medicine at Texas A&M University. Dr. Porterpan's interests include small animal nutrition with emphasis on critical care patients, as well as gastroenterology. She enjoys time on the lake and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Matthew Miller

    DVM

    Matthew Miller, DVM, MS, is board certified in small animal Internal Medicine. Dr. Miller received his DVM from Texas A&M University and completed an internship at Colorado State University. He then completed a dual program consisting of a Master of Science in Clinical Sciences and small animal Internal Medicine residency at Colorado State University. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Miller completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at CSU. His interests include general internal medicine cases, endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures as well as immune-mediated disease.

  • Kirk Sears

    DVM

    Kirk Sears, DVM, ACVIM is boarded in small animal Internal Medicine. Dr. Sears received his DVM from Texas A&M University and completed an internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. He then completed a small animal Internal Medicine residency at The University of Pennsylvania. His interests include general internal medicine cases, endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures as well as immunology and endocrinology.

  • Zachary M. Wright

    DVM

    Dr. Zachary M. Wright, DACVIM is board certified in Oncology and has been trained to diagnose and treat oncology cases using state-of-the-art technology. Dr. Wright received his DVM from Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, and completed a one year rotating small animal internship in medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital in Los Angeles, California. He then completed a residency in small animal medical oncology at Texas A&M University, and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine-Oncology in 2008. Dr. Wright joined the Animal Diagnostic team in January of 2012 and is available for consultations and appointments Monday through Friday at the Dallas office. Dr. Wright's areas of interest include palliative and hospice care of animals with terminal cancers, novel chemotherapies, such as Palladia, and collaborative efforts with his human oncology colleagues.
